Each boat is equipped with a marine head (bathroom).

    • The toilet must be used only in a sitting position.

    • First pour water either from the sink hose (if there is one) or from a gallon jug of water into the toilet.

    • Use the toilet and then move the lever to discharge and pump out it out. Repeat this as long as necessary.

    • The pipe diameters are smaller than household plumbing and clog very easily. You must put only small amounts of toilet paper to avoid clogs. Besides waste and toilet paper, nothing solid should be flushed down.

    • It is preferable to flush several times as needed than once at the end.

    • The discharge from the toilet goes to a holding tank. We stop by the pumpout station, usually available at most fuel stations, to empty the tank.

    • After you are done using the toilet, pour water and pump it out by operating the handle 20 times.

    • Add a little water to the bowl to contain the smell in the hose and holding tank.
